Automated Interview

Learn about automated interviews, how to conduct AI-driven candidate screenings, and the benefits of flexible remote hiring solutions - Jisr Glossary.

Definition of an Automated Interview

An automated interview is a type of job interview in which multiple candidates are interviewed automatically, without the need for a face-to-face interview with each candidate individually.

An automated job interview involves a recruiter sending a set of questions to the job applicant, who then answers them and resubmits the responses to the recruiter. This process is repeated with all applicants, enabling the recruiter to conduct multiple interviews through a streamlined process that does not take much time.

This type of job interview was developed to serve two primary purposes: first, to provide significant flexibility for both applicants and recruiters, allowing them to ask and answer questions at a time and place that suits them; and second, to facilitate remote hiring by making it easier to interview applicants from different geographic locations.
