Position Overview:

The Dynamics 365 Consultant specializing in Retail and Supply Chain is responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for retail and supply chain operations. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business requirements, designing solutions that improve operational efficiency, and ensuring the successful deployment and adoption of Dynamics 365 across retail and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering and Solution Design:

   • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their retail and supply chain processes, challenges, and goals.
   • Design and configure tailored solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail and Supply Chain to improve business processes.
   • Provide insights into industry best practices and Dynamics 365 capabilities.

2. System Configuration and Customization:

   • Configure Dynamics 365 modules for Retail, Inventory Management, Order Processing, Warehouse Management, and Procurement.
   • Customize functionality, workflows, and user interfaces to meet client-specific business requirements.
   • Implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party systems (e.g., e-commerce platforms, POS systems).

3. Process Optimization and Automation:

   • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation using Dynamics 365 tools.
   • Streamline supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement workflows, and retail operations for enhanced efficiency.

4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

   • Lead system and integration testing to ensure the solution meets business needs and functions properly.
   • Collaborate with technical teams to address issues during testing phases, ensuring smooth deployment.

5. User Training and Support:

   • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on the newly implemented Dynamics 365 modules.
   • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to address user questions or system issues.

6. Project Management and Stakeholder Communication:

   • Work with project managers to plan timelines, deliverables, and project milestones.
   • Communicate project progress to stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing any concerns that arise during the implementation process.

7. Continuous Improvement and System Enhancements:

   • Stay updated on new features and enhancements in Dynamics 365 Retail and Supply Chain.
   • Suggest improvements based on user feedback and system performance, continuously optimizing the platform to meet evolving business needs.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail and Supply Chain (e.g., MB-330, MB-340) are highly desirable.

• Experience:

  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 for Retail and Supply Chain modules.
  • Hands-on experience with modules like Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, Warehouse Management, and Retail.
  • Knowledge of retail and supply chain processes, including inventory control, procurement, demand forecasting, and logistics.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 for Retail, Supply Chain Management, and related modules.
  • Familiarity with integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party applications, including e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
  • Experience with tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and Azure for reporting and process automation.
