  • Quality Specialist – Restaurant Industry

 

 

  • Job description

 

  • The Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality standards across restaurant branches and central kitchens. This role plays a key part in conducting inspections, identifying non-compliance, and supporting continuous improvement to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and product quality.

 

  • Key Responsibilities:

 

  • * Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene standards across branches and central kitchen
  • * Conduct regular field inspections to evaluate cleanliness, food handling, and storage practices
  • * Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO)
  • * Report non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • * Develop and update quality checklists, audit tools, and documentation
  • * Train staff on quality standards, food safety protocols, and best practices
  • * Collaborate with kitchen and operations teams to improve product quality and consistency
  • * Analyze inspection data and prepare regular quality performance reports
  • * Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

 

  • Qualifications

 

  • * Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, or a related field
  • * 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance or food safety, preferably in the restaurant or catering sector
  • * Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, SFDA regulations)
  • * Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • * Ability to work independently and conduct field visits
  • * Good communication and training skills

 

  • Work Conditions

 

  • * Location: On-site (branches + central kitchen)
  • * Travel: Frequent visits to restaurant locations
  • * Working Hours: Full-time / Shift-based (as required)
