Salasa has two sets of offerings:
A. Offline:
- Mega fulfillment centers: large-scale facilities to receive stocks of our clients, store them, prepare orders and dispatch them.
- Darstores: small warehouses distrubuted across main cities to do on-demand delivery and two-hour delivery.
- Last mile delivery: through our own subsidiary or aggregator option.
- Bonded-zones (new): custom-free areas where merchants can store their products withouth the need for licenses and registrations.
- Cross-border (new): enabling merchants from anywhere in the world to ship to anywhere in the world.
B. Online: Salasa One (order management system) with integrations with online web stores such as Zed, Salla and Shopify and with warehouse management systems and transport management system. This is the one-stop-shop for our clients to manage their processes and supply chain end-to-end.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in systems and network administration within a fast-paced, cloud-first environment. The ideal candidate has strong exposure to Microsoft ecosystems, identity management, security policies, and networking fundamentals, with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and configure Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Single Sign-On (SSO) across enterprise tools
- Configure and maintain Azure policies (configuration-focused, not full environment ownership)
- Enforce device security and compliance using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
- Oversee and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes (user accounts, permissions, and devices)
- Provision hardware and manage IT assets and inventory tracking
- Maintain and support VPN, DNS, email routing, and endpoint protection systems
- Configure and manage firewalls, including rule creation and access policies
- Collaborate closely with Security, Engineering, and Support teams on access control and compliance requirements
- Conduct regular audits on system access, permissions, and SaaS usage
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT issues related to identity, access, and system availability
- Hire, train, manage, and mentor junior IT staff, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices
Required Expertise & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT Systems, SysAdmin, or Network Administration roles
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and identity management solutions
- Solid understanding of SSO, SAML, Active Directory (AD), and access role design
- Experience with MDM platforms such as Intune, Jamf, Kandji, or similar
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, IP routing, and firewalls
- Familiarity with endpoint security, asset management, and helpdesk tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
