• Monitor Security Systems: Actively monitor security tools, systems, and dashboards to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Incident Response Support: Assist in identifying, containing, investigating, and remediating security incidents and breaches.
• Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability scans, analyze results, and help track remediation efforts.
• Policy & Compliance: Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to apply and maintain security best practices.
• Audit & Risk Participation: Contribute to audits, risk assessments, and compliance efforts such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PDPL.
• Tool Maintenance: Help manage and maintain security infrastructure, including SIEM systems, endpoint protection tools, firewalls, and IAM solutions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or related technical roles.
• Basic understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and system administration (Linux/Windows).
• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, GIAC, or (ISC)² SSCP are a plus, but not required.
