Role Overview
The role is responsible for carrying out assigned maintenance and technical tasks, ensuring they are completed on time, safely, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across HQ and clubs, including AP, GL, payroll accounting interface, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports, including financial position, cash flow, loans, payroll, and forecasts with clear commentary.
· Monitor spending against budget, resolve deviations, and ensure compliance with POs and SOPs.
· Maintain strong financial controls and ensure accounting records are reliable and audit ready.
· Coordinate with internal and external auditors, provide required documents, and support audit fieldwork and closure of audit queries.
· Manage tax-related requirements in a timely manner (Zakat, WHT, VAT, etc.) and ensure compliance with ZATCA reporting needs.
· Improve accounting systems and ERP processes, implement enhancements, and train the team in best practices to strengthen performance and consistency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Professional certification such as SOCPA/CPA is preferred.
Strong understanding of IFRS, audit cycles, and accounting controls.
