MAINTENANCE

Full Time


To supervise, maintain, and develop mechanical systems, machines, and equipment within the plant. The Maintenance Mechanical Engineer ensures the smooth execution of fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities, supports design and modification projects, and upholds the highest standards of quality and safety.

 

Requirement Minimally Required Preferred / Specialized
Education College degree or above Degree in Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering
Experience Minimum 3 years in pipe plant maintenance management or similar industry —
Language English or Chinese English with Arabic and/or Chinese
Knowledge & Skills Experience in mechanical equipment design and plant machinery operation Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CAD software, with solid professional knowledge
Specific Requirement Calm, careful, humble, and steady personality —

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities within the plant.

  2. Conduct studies on modification and installation of machines and equipment, including conceptual design and theoretical calculations for approval.

  3. Assist mechanical designers in completing approved mechanical design plans and shop drawings.

  4. Prepare materials lists, project estimates, and cost reports.

  5. Manage material requisitions and inspect delivered materials for projects.

  6. Monitor daily tasks and material usage through detailed reporting.

  7. Provide technical support for all mechanical-related work inside the plant.

  8. Lead efforts to upgrade production line equipment and develop new machinery.

  9. Complete assigned design and maintenance tasks on schedule.

  10. Assist the department manager in all design and project coordination tasks.

  11. Ensure compliance with HSE policies, identifying and mitigating environmental factors and potential hazards.

  12. Support department staff in recognizing environmental risks and promoting safety awareness.

  13. Complete any additional duties assigned by upper management.

 

Accountability & Authority:

  • Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager of Al-Qahtani PCK Pipe Company.

  • Responsible for regular reporting on maintenance performance and project progress.

  • Accountable for completion of assigned work and meeting Key Performance Targets (KPI).

  • Authorized to make decisions and take action on matters ensuring safety, compliance, and operational integritywithin maintenance operations.
