Requirements
1. *Testing of Advanced Protection Relays and Panels:*
- Conduct functional, performance, interoperability, and environmental tests on various types of protection relays and panels.
- Develop and maintain detailed test procedures in compliance with industry standards (IEC, IEEE).
- Analyze test results and ensure all equipment meets quality and safety standards.
2. *Customer Training:*
- Design and deliver training modules on protection relays, including configuration, communication protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Provide hands-on training sessions and simulations to enhance customer understanding and operational efficiency.
- Create and update training materials such as user manuals, guides, and instructional videos.
3. *Configuration and Communication:*
- Configure protection relays according to customer specifications and project requirements.
- Establish and troubleshoot communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3) to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Document all configurations and changes made during the process.
4. *Updating Test Procedures:*
- Regularly review and update test procedures based on feedback from testing teams and advancements in technology.
- Implement a version control system for all testing documentation to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
5. *Reporting and Coordination:*
- Follow company protocols for reporting test results, including the use of standardized templates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other teams to coordinate testing schedules and resource allocation.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customers to address any issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience with protection relays, testing procedures, and customer training.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols and configuration software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical protection systems.
- Experience with project management tools and documentation software.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles or technical training.
