Hayyak Lounge: One of our subsidiaries, Hayyak Lounge, was established in 2017. It is an integral part of our commitment to delivering premium hospitality services and redefining the lounge experience.

EATERIA Sandwich Shop: EATERIA Sandwich Shop offers a convenient and quick way to purchase food and beverages on-the-go. This subsidiary operates in high-traffic areas and prioritizes efficiency, eliminating the need for extended waiting times or formal seating arrangements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support all activities related to Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Excise Tax.
• Possess practical experience in handling Excise Tax, particularly for sweetened beverages and similar products.
• Ensure full compliance with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements regarding Excise Tax, including timely reporting, documentation, and payment.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Sales, and Customs departments to verify product codes and maintain up-to-date GPC/HS codes.
• Prepare responses to ZATCA audits and assessments related to Excise Tax and support in filing objections and appeals when necessary.
• Monitor regulatory updates on Excise Tax and provide analytical reports on their impact on business operations.
• Maintain accurate records of tax returns, documentation, payments, and official correspondence with ZATCA.
• Advise management on tax implications of new products or supply chain modifications.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA or CertIFR are preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Zakat and Tax, with a focus on Excise Tax.
• Strong knowledge of ZATCA regulations and guidelines.
• Bilingual – Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• High proficiency in Excel and ERP accounting systems.

• Ability to interpret tax laws and effectively apply them within a business environment.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with consultants and government authorities.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with relevant internal departments (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Operations, Customs, and Supply Chain) to ensure integrated tax and Zakat handling, particularly Excise Tax.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
