AVK Saudi Valves Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (AVK SVMC) established in April 1985 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is a part of The AVK Group, a privately owned industrial group that currently comprises of more than 100 companies. 

AVK’s core business is the production of valves, hydrants and accessories for the water, gas, sewage treatment and fire protection. Furthermore, AVK has built up strong brands supplying valves and controls for water treatment, dams, reservoirs, HVAC, chemical processing, marine and other industrial sectors. AVK SVMC has its production facility and sales office in Jeddah, KSA as well as express service centres in Riyadh, Dammam, and Buraidah. 

AVK SVMC is producing a wide range of valves, fittings and fire hydrants according to BS, AWWA, and DIN and meeting other international standards and customer specifications. AVK Product range is approved by all major clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia such as Saudi Aramco, Water authorities, Royal Commission, Marafiq, SWCC, SABIC, Civil Defense, Ma’aden, National Water Company etc. Products produced at AVK SVMC are also exported to all GCC countries, Middle East, Europe, Asia and African 


Job Responsbilbilities : 

  • Responsible for running MRP/MPS planning in Navision.
  • Run long-term production planning and prepare the procurement plan based on production needs.
  • Use Slim 4 tool to forecast sales demand and agree on the monthly demand plan with Sales.
  • Monitor and improve the demand forecast accuracy.
  • Participate effectively in the S&OP meetings to finalize an agreed delivery plan.
  • Create long-term firm-planned work orders to support the capacity planning in production.
  • Prepare the stock parameter monthly update to upload in the ERP system.
  • Prepare and circulate the purchase forecast to all vendors.
  • Manage stock parameters for locally manufactured items.
  • Maintain item card maintenance for production items in the ERP system.
  • Control the component adjustments for variating items from the standard bill of materials.
  • Manage Ad-hoc assignments and tasks to support the procurement and planning team.
  • Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives to support the optimization of department processes.

Job Requirments: 

  • BSc degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or other related major.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in demand or production planning role.
  • Basic understanding of ERP / MRP systems (business solution systems for material requirement and capacity requirements, supporting financial reporting).
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Multi-tasking capability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Good English speaking and writing.
