Job Title : ASR Officer (Assisted Spontaneous Return & Resettlement)
Reporting to : Protection Officer
Location: Aden–Basateen, with field visit to "Lahj–Kharaz, Hadramout (Mukalla/Sayoun) "
Job Purpose
The ASR Officer leads the implementation of voluntary repatriation and resettlement activities, ensuring refugees and asylum seekers receive informed, safe, dignified, and rights-based support toward durable solutions, in close coordination with UNHCR and relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinating and communicating with UNHCR (Donor) on the arrangement of trips for the voluntary return people.
- Coordination with the supervisor of the accommodation center for the transportation and accommodation of beneficiaries.
- Usual Follow up on the movements of returning refugees from Kharaz camp or from any other governorates in the republic of Yemen.
- Supervising on the provision of the necessary meals for the travelers during their stay in the accommodation center before traveling.
- Provide regular area information on program activities, monthly reports, Narrative Reports, Financial Reports based on agreed formats and schedules.
- Ensuring of the match the passengers and follow up on the provision of money to the travelers for each payment
- Coordination with the transport company before the arrangement and planning of each trip.
- Attending any meetings with the supporter when needed .
- Holds final responsibility for verification of all support documents’ completeness and correctness by Following up and making sure to archiving documents for the travelers after each and every flight separately and ensure that all documents are completed.

Agree and establish clear reporting and communication lines through Coordination with the rest of the concerned parties on each trip to avoid any obstacles or delays.
- Implement project activities according to the required standards/specifications in corresponding with the project workplan.
- Perform any other related duties and tasks assigned to him by the management of NMO
- Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
University degree in, Social Sciences, Administration Business specialization, or a related subject .
Experience
- At least 2 – 3 years’ experience working in protection, or management projects.
- Experience with project management cycle, budgets, and donor requirements.
- Previous experience in a humanitarian setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and representative skills (written, oral, cross – cultural).
- Experience working with governments, UN bodies, INGOs and local NGOs.
- Experience in donor relation.
- Ability to take initiative where appropriate to deal with difficulties encountered in daily work.
- Ability to adapt, change priorities according to the changing situation within a mission or the organization
- Ability to conduct work in a professional and mature manner .
- Ability to deal with relations with local authorities as a representative of NMO.
